Outreach: Train-Equip-Assist

Through a threefold outreach approach (train-equip-assist), TTC seeks to help communities become more equitable, resilient, and adaptive.

We offer short courses, workshops, and continuing education opportunities informed by the latest research and exemplary practices and developed by our expert faculty.

Browse our course offerings and expertise for a listing of course offerings, such as Hazard Vulnerability Mapping, Economic Development, and American Community Survey 101, as well as courses offered through affiliate program TAMU AgriLife Extension.

Other workshops can be developed at the request of the partner to meet specific needs.

We work to supplement local capacity through high-impact, service learning activities. TTC faculty and students work through a variety of courses and studio projects to address concerns, needs, projects, or persistent problems identified by the community. Technical assistance includes:

Our most commonly used services are data collection, mapping and meeting facilitation services.
